About the Young Preschool
Through free play and carefully thought out lesson plans we intend to grow our friendships, knowledge, understanding, and curiosity. This classroom offers daily lesson plans that are catered to the needs of the classroom and individuals as well. Some days our class will do activities as a large group and other days we may split into smaller groups to ensure that each child is gaining all they can from the activity. These lesson plans will focus on areas of education that are developmentally appropriate for your child including but not limited to: recognizing letters and numbers, counting, literacy, and continuing to develop social and emotional skills.
Our Daily Schedule
- 7:00-9:00 Free Choice
- 9:00-9:30 Wash Hands and Snack
- 9:30-10:00 Circle Time
- 10:00-10:45 Centers and/or Daily Activity
- 10:45-11:30 Outside time
- 11:30-11:45 Story and Song Time
- 11:45-12:15 Wash Hands and Lunch
- 12:15-12:30 Quiet Time on cot
- 12:30-3:00 Nap/Rest Time
- 3:00-3:15 Wake up/Potty/Wash hands
- 3:15-3:30 Afternoon Snack
- 3:30-4:00 Table Activities or Outside
- 4:00-4:30 Group Activity or Outside
- 4:30-5:30 Free Choice or Outside
All Outside Time is weather permitting.
